Energy Heal: Equine bodywork and sports massage

In addition to her established practice with humans Oonagh is a qualified Equine Body Worker® and as such is able to give sports massage treatments to horses. Oonagh grew up with horses and had her own pony until 9 years of age. She then continued to ride on trekking holidays and at riding schools until age 16. As an adult she began riding again whilst living in London, hacking out in Hyde park. She now has her own horse and is enjoying dressage training and pleasure riding.

Signs that could indicate that your horse would benefit from massage are becoming head shy, defensive when groomed, unwilling to move forward , change in attitude to work, change in disposition and or eating habits or other changes that are out of character.

EQUINE MASSAGE IS USED ALONG WITH CONVENTIONAL AND ALTERNATIVE HEALTHCARE AS WELL AS PROPER TRAINING TECHNIQUES ENABLING THE HORSE TO PERFORM AT AN OPTIMUM LEVEL. MASSAGE IS NEVER A REPLACEMENT FOR VETERINARY CARE.
